The Royal Oak pub and grill, Twickenham

I love dining out but pubs are not on my list when it comes to indulging, no matter how hungry i am. But our local pub and grill The Royal Oak is something different! I was passing by this pub one evening, it looked inviting with lit candles on the windows and tables. There were quite a few people enjoying their dinner and they were not the usual pub drinkers clientele so me and my partner agreed to visit soon. I was impressed with the food quality and their menu is good! They recently added pizza menu too! We visit at least once or twice a month. The staff is like lottery, sometimes we get perfect service sometimes the waiting is long. But in general service is very good!

The seating area is large, they also have tables outside. For anyone interested in sport, they have two large screens and the pub is completely full on rugby days. Also noticed they tend to get fully booked on the weekend late afternoon or evenings so the best is to book in advance.
